Who can become a member of IASH?
If you are a UK sales house or ad network, you can apply to be audited by ABCe within six months of your application. Once you have passed the audit, you then achieve certification and become a full member of the Council. For more information on becoming a member, click here
What does being a member of IASH mean? What about those companies who aren’t members?
If you have achieved full membership status of IASH, this means that you fully adhere to the Code of Conduct and have passed an ABCe audit within the past 6 months, thus sending out a message to advertisers and agencies that you are trading responsibly with a dedication to best practice and industry-wide transparency. Many agencies and clients now insist on IASH accreditation for suppliers.
Those organisations who are not members of IASH are unable to claim any association with the Council, however we would recommend that any Sales House trading in the UK should contact us to establish how being a full member can further reinforce their professional integrity to clients. You can view a full list of IASH members here.
Can a company claim a formal association with IASH if they are an applicant, or currently undergoing audit?
No. In order to promote greater transparency IASH has abolished its applicant member status, which meant that any company could apply and claim IASH membership without having passed an audit. The new process means that a company can only claim full member status once an audit is passed and this must be taken within six months of the initial application.
