IASH reaches 27 members as We Love Network receives official accreditation


We Love Network has successfully passed an ABCe audit to become a full member of the Internet Advertising Sales House Council

London, 19 November 2010: IASH has once again grown its membership base as We Love Network received accredited membership status following the July to September 2010 audit by ABCe,. The council now has 27 company members.

The independent audit was undertaken by ABCe and confirms that We Love Network has complied with the IASH Code of Conduct – using best practice to minimise the risk of advertising appearing on inappropriate sites.

IASH exists to police and encourage best practice among online advertising sales houses and is a symbol of trust and transparency, providing confidence and reassurance to advertisers and publishers. IASH has seen its membership increase dramatically in 2009 and has made some key announcements including launching a centralised site vetting solution for members.

IASH members wish to ensure that display ads placed via their networks do not appear on websites which could jeopardize advertisers' brands. This Code provides a formal framework for best practice for IASH Members to follow when dealing with advertisers, agencies, networks and site owners. The purpose of the Code is to give those buying, selling or broking internet advertising space a clear understanding of the types of inventory which can and cannot be used when fulfilling an ad insertion order.

About ABCe
ABCe is the industry owned, non-profit distributing organisation, which works on behalf of advertisers, media buyers and media owners, to provide third party independent verification and certification for data related to electronic media.

ABCe’s role is to manage standards for the industry through its work with JICWEBS (the Joint Industry Committee for Web Standards – www.jicwebs.org). ABCe provides a rigorous audit to help ensure that all IASH applicants and members meet and continue to adhere to, key elements of the strict requirements set out in the IASH Code of Conduct.
